Rust 2024 Release Date. With the merging of rfc #3672, the rust project has selected a slate of 26 project goals for the second half of 2024 (2024h2). Feature complete status for rust 2024, with final release to occur in early 2025.

The upcoming rust force wipe will go live on thursday, december 5, 2024, at 7 pm bst/2 pm est/11:30 pm ist for all regions across the globe. This is a reminder to the teams working on the 2024 edition that implementation work should be finished by the end of may.
